founded by Berglind Guðbrandsdóttir and Sigmundur Dýrfjörð in 1984. Te &
Kaffi is known in Iceland
as the pioneer of speciality coffee and high quality tea. In 1987 they began to
specialize in importing and roasting coffee and have been continuing with
passion for coffee ever since. Te & Kaffi operates its own roastery and
wholesale business on the HoReCa and retail markets and owns a chain of gourmet coffee
shops. Te & Kaffi produces only coffee of the highest quality with the very
best crops from all over the world. The standard of quality is also carefully
adhered to in the manufacturing process, where the coffee is made using a “slow
roast” method that preserves the natural oils of the coffee bean, keeping the
aroma and flavor of the speciality coffees.

as well as supermarket chains and traditional retail stores, makes Te &
